Robert I. Larus Student Prize |

The graduate student presenting the paper or
poster judged best by a panel of scientists will win an all expense paid trip to the annual AAAS
meeting in Denver, Colorado, 13-18 February 2004. Participants must be US citizens and
enrolled in a graduate program at a university within the region covered by the AAAS Arctic
Division. The student must be first author and present his or her own work at the 2003
confer-ence.

Sigma Xi Undergraduate Poster Award |

The University of Alaska chapter of Sigma Xi will
provide a $200 prize for the best poster presented
by an undergraduate student. Students must be first author and present their own work.
Please indicate if you are eligible when you submit your Poster Session abstract. Posters do
not need to address specific technical session topics and abstracts will be accepted until 1
September. |
