OUR MISSION

The Arctic Division carries out, within its geographical region, the objectives of AAAS:

"To advance science and innovation throughout the world for the benefit of all people."

The Arctic Division takes a leadership role in promoting interdisciplinary activities, education, and communication among scientists, the public, researchers, graduate students, resource managers, business leaders, rural residents and Alaska Natives.
